This two-month-long investigation into aircraft interior space followed a pitch to be one of 5 designers chosen to be involved in Boeing's 'Innovations in the Air' project with British Airways.

I chose to focus on the role of seat design in defining the quality of space around passengers when seated, first highlighting a number of problem areas.

The initial proposal was confirmed during the project, and the conclusion was successfully delivered in April 2006.
