Coffee

A series of academic briefs channelled by my enjoyment and interest in coffee led to presentation of this concept.

The proposal delivers the round flavour of 'french' coffee with improved efficiency and convenience, but, most importantly, with intuitive controls and rich tactile interaction.

Early sketching looked at a variety of exciting and relevant mechanical references, and explored ways of utilsing references appropriately.

This led to three-dimensional form studies in polystyrene foam, to communicate volumetrically the intended spirit for a product to tap into these romantic links
