Abstract

Industrial Design, for me, is a very grounded, tactile, reflective practise. Observations and instinctive suggestions are the root of useful innovation, confirmed and broadened or focused by research and enquiry, until the concept has shape and can be grasped and worked.

Human-centred design is very much on the tongues of the design world at present; there is great satisfaction in taking a hypothesis and, via science and iteration, proving a real benefit. See my recent full body contact work on Freia.
